About Phil

I was born in Lubbock, Texas, which means you might could hear me using multiple modal constructions, high negation, and  y'all. But, growing up in Kansas makes me sound like a Midwesterner anymore. (If you get any of this so far, you've already drunk (/drank?) the linguistics Kool-Aid.) I'm the husband of the most amazing woman in the entire world, and together we have four fantastic kids that constantly remind me how awesome language is.
